Watch as Coach Chris Parno explains, and sprinters demonstrate running through the wickets. This is a high-intensity exercise repeated 3 to 4 times, usually at the end of a warmup. The wickets are self-made from PVC pipe, and are very affordable so it is possible to have multiple rows set up. The spacing for each wicket progressively lengthens until the ideal stride length is achieved and it can be customized for individual athletes or as conditions require.
