Watch as Coach Alex Armenteros explains what he teaches his hurdlers regarding proper arm and hand placement. If the arm and hand are below the hurdler's face, he will look up and straighten up. Coach prefers the arm and hand above the face so the hurdler peeks below it which keeps the head down. It is important for the hand to come back aggressively which will bring the trail leg through.
