Watch as Dr. Peter Ormsby discusses coaches' stressors and mental health. He cites case studies that indicate the three main stressors are performance-related, organizational-related, and personal. Performance stressors deal with injuries to athletes and poor performance. Organizational stressors involve job security and conflicts with playing and support staff. Personal stressors involve lack of social time and feelings of isolation. He will go into detail and explain more about the symptoms relating to the inability to manage stress.
