Watch as Coach explains, and sprinters demonstrate this split and rip drill. This is a start drill from a 2-, 3- or 4-point stance. In the offseason they use a 2-point stance with the left foot up to the line and the left hand high setting up for the split and rip. On the first step the sprinters hands are split apart and on the second step the sprinter rips though it.
