Watch as Coach Rose Monday explains the Kosmin Test for anaerobic power and endurance used for predicting performance in the 800m - 1500m. She recommends that the test only be used for runners with times of 2:01 or faster. The athlete runs flat-out for 60 seconds and the distance covered is measured. After a three-minute rest, the process is repeated, and the distances are added and used to estimate the 800m race time.
