Rollover Block Starts with Chris Parno – Minnesota State Univ., Mankato

Watch as Coach Chris Parno explains how he introduces blocks by using the Rollover Block Start. The athlete will not be in an actual starting position but will step on top of the block while staying balanced and lean forward to push off the blocks. Make sure you are closer to the heel side when on top of the blocks so that you use the full foot when rolling over on the pad. Make sure that the whole body is leaning forward then drive off.
