Fuel and Recovery with Dr. Brenda Buffington – Ohio State Univ.

Dr. Brenda Buffington explains that research has shown that with all things being equal, proper nutrition and fueling can help with overall performance. Many track athletes on the high school level do not practice proper nutrition and fueling because they just don't know much about it. Brenda compares an athlete's body to a car, and you must maintain and fuel it so that it works efficiently.
