Watch as Coach Chris Parno explains, and a sprinter demonstrates these acceleration sled pulls. The sprinter pulls an external load and a hip harness allows the athlete to focus on driving their hips forward and practice low heel swinging leg motions. Make sure the cable has no slack and the external load is no more than 10 to 20 percent of the sprinter's body weight.
