Watch as Coach explains, and a hurdler demonstrates these mini hurdle drills that work on speed and agility. The hurdles are 6 and 24 inches, but always start the workout using the 24-inch mini hurdles. The 3-step drill works on preventing the lead leg from floating over the hurdle with emphasis on getting the lead leg down. The 1-step works on getting the lead leg over as fast as possible. Repeat the drills using the same format with the 6-inch hurdles working rhythm and correct body positioning.
