Watch as Katie Steele cites statistics that show that the average high school track coach stays at their jobs for 1-2 years. Only 11% of Coaches stay at least 11+ years. These stats translate to burnout and most people do not recognize the symptoms until they are fried. Coaches are always utilizing mechanisms with their athletes to help them manage stress and stay mentally healthy. The goal is apply these mechanisms to yourself to combat burnout and allow you to thrive as a coach.
