The drill works on sequencing within the swing, allowing the hitter to feel the sequence of the swing, pelvis, torso, and hands. This drill is best done using a mirror so the hitter can see and get instant feedback. The head should be in the center of the hoop and the hands in line with the shoulders while keeping the elbows down. Start with a good hinge position and move as slowly as possible, working to 8 to 10 reps.
