Watch as Coach Garland Shirley explains, and a hitter demonstrates the High-In Low-Out Drill that is good for hitters struggling with inside and outside pitches. Coach covers the tee placement, and then the hitter will pull the inside ball then push the outside ball. He recommends that when hitting off tees, 90% of the work should be working on inside and outside pitches, with 10% of balls down the middle.
