Driving: Rip, Lock, 21 with Tom Crean

June 15, 2021 • By Georgia Basketball Coaches Association

Watch as Coach explains the Rip, Lock, 21 Drill that uses physio balls in developing post-ups. This multi-position drill focuses on players being comfortable using their lower body. It is important that the player does not lose contact with the physio ball, getting the shoulder down and into the ball. The posting player takes two steps to the middle while attacking with the butt then drop steps to the baseline.

This clip comes from a full-length session that was featured in the Georgia Basketball Coaches Association (GBCA) Virtual Clinic that was held from October 11 - 15, 2020.
