Watch as Coach Andrew Secor explains, and players demonstrate this elbow throws shooting drill. This is a 3-player drill with the offensive player receiving the ball from the top, letting it bounce once then catching it and shooting. The defender will touch the opposite elbow and then sprint to the shooter for a closeout. Players need to be able to move their feet left, right, laterally, and to hop back and forth, all as in a game situation.
