Watch as Coach Billy Goffney explains and players demonstrate this 10 shell diamond press drill. This shell drill is a great way to teach rotations for their 1-2-1-1 press without using a ball. Coach places 7 chairs on the floor, each representing an area where they are going to trap. He will explain the players' responsibilities for each area and will rapidly change a called chair number which simulates a skip pass or quick change of ball direction. The drill is usually 30 to 45 seconds and is a great conditioner as well as great for teaching the press.
