Melissa Kates, JD, Grand Prairie ISD Attorney, discusses what you should do when dealing with negative social posts about your athletes. She recommends to parents and kids that if something bad is posted, you should log in to your account and report it several times, asking that the post be taken down. Contacting the parents of the poster can help, but if the problem still exists then report it to the school or district SRO so that there is an official record.
