Leslie Slovak explains what she looks for in hiring coaches. It is very important to her that candidates have a love for kids. Her favorite question to ask head coach candidates is what their greatest success story is and what was their hardest and most challenging moment as a coach. She looks for answers on relationships and the impact coaches make on the kids. Her role is to help coaches grow and if that doesn't work out then they must go. She stresses winning in the right way and they will follow all the rules and not work in grey areas.
