Strength & Conditioning: In-Season Box Jumps with Ben Durbin – Iowa State Univ.

November 1, 2022 • By National All Sports Virtual Coaches Summit

Watch as Coach Ben Durbin explains, and a wrestler demonstrates these lower body plyometric movements, in-season box jumps exercises. Reverse lunge box jumps work on body control and the quad muscles. This is a great exercise to decrease load while having maximum effort and output. Knee to feet box jumps is another explosive exercise, as the athlete must use a great amount of energy from their hips. A variation of this exercise is using one foot.
