Watch as Coach Jake Arnone explains and demonstrates these positional warmup drills. The first drill, the Single Leg, starts with an emphasis on position, knee behind knee and shoulder over the thigh, and head on chest with the wrap hand on top. High Crotch is the 2nd drill, and the proper position is shoulder to the thigh, chest on the thigh, and butterfly grip above the knee. These warmup drills emphasize the importance of hand placement, athleticism, and controlling your opponent's hips, knees, and ankles in a single leg or high crotch situation.
