Countering a 2v1 to a Score with Scott Goodale – Rutgers Univ.

View more from the video provider • October 2, 2023 • By Championship Productions

Watch as Coach Scott Goodale explains and demonstrates the three counters when your opponent attempts a 2v1. All the options require good head position and enough pressure so the opponent can feel it. The 1st counter involves attacking top hand, bringing the elbow back, and snatching a single leg if possible. The 2nd counter involves attacking the far elbow and pulling out to a underhook to get to multiple offensive options. Coach finishes with the 3rd counter by pulling the elbow and level-changing with the ear to the hip and slide by for a double.
