Watch as Coach Bryan Snyder discusses and demonstrates clearing ties. You can use a 2-on-1 to clear a collar tie but make sure not to move away from the opponent and move into them. Another method is the snap and pull to create separation and making sure to move the feet. When neutralizing an underhook, keep the elbow down and push on the opponent's hip. To clear an underhook completely, use a bump and elbow to the ear.
