Watch as Coach John Grossman explains, and players demonstrate this serving progression drill used to train float serving. Coach uses pool noodles and elastic to shape the court and create three stations. This is a quick, flexible drill you can use as a warmup once a week for ten minutes. At the first station, players work on the height of their serve. At the second station, players work on a clean ball float. Third station, players serve first a short ball and then a deep ball. Players will rotate through after two serves at each station focusing on being mindful with their movements.
