Jump Float Serve: Creating a Good Line with John Grossman – North Carolina State Univ.

August 2, 2022 • By American Volleyball Coaches Association

Watch as Coach John Grossman explains, and players demonstrate this jump float serving drill that focuses on creating a good, straight line. The ball and the serving shoulder both start on the line (which you can tape on your courts) creating a simpler movement and increasing consistency. Coach emphasizes footwork and follow through all following the line. The drill progresses to cross court which creates angles but still follows a good line.
