Watch as Coach explains, and a sprinter demonstrates these different types of wall drills. The wall drill with toe drag helps the sprinter to feel the low heel recovery out of the blocks and the high knee in front. The drill should be repeated another time, but now without using the toe drag. The next progression is wall switches that works on the hips staying forward. These drills simulate the initial feeling a sprinter will have coming out of the blocks.
