Watch as Coach David Butler explains how he learned to change his teaching approach when a vaulter could not master the technique he was trying to teach. He credits a famous Polish pole vaulter, Coach Andrzej Krzesinski who, with his wife, moved to the US and became a coach at Oregon with the term "It's Not in Him" meaning if a vaulter does not respond to what you are teaching, you as a coach should change your approach.
