Watch as Coaches Jubeck and Witt explain and show practice video of these hurdle warmup exercises. The 1st exercise is working the lead leg using both the left and right leg on every hurdle. The 2nd exercise is similar to the first but now working every other hurdle. The focus on both is knee drive, toes up, and using the arms. The 3rd exercise is a backward hurdle working on the trail leg. The focus is on opening up the hip and keeping the body square. It is key not to swing the hips and legs to rotate the body.
