Watch as Coach Beth Torina discusses increasing your pitcher's speed through long toss. Pitchers should long toss 2 to 3 times per week, working on throwing the ball as high and far as they can while using all of their pitches. If space is an issue, pitchers can use a ball in a sock, which will produce the same results as the long toss. The weight of the ball in the sock will also create some whip in the arm.
