Watch as Coach Leah Campbell explains and shows practice video of the 3-2-1 Trio Infield Drill. This drill involves the full infield defense, as 3 balls are hit consecutively to the same player. The 1st play will be a play at 3rd, the 2nd play will be a play at 2nd, and the 3rd play will be a play at 1st. Repeat this process with every infielder. The 2nd phase involves working on choppers, changing to a 3-1-1 format. Variations can include working on slap and bunt defense.
