Watch as Coach explains, and players demonstrate this shooting workout. This workout is usually done before or after practice at the players' discretion. The first drill is shooting close to the rim, working on being on their toes and dipping and turning. The players then move to the foul line with their backs to the basket. They will turn and shoot, working on picking up the rim as quickly as possible and shooting the ball straight. They will then execute a hard bounce and shoot, making sure the elbow is above their eyebrows. The players finish with a bounding drill, jumping to the left, then right, left again, then taking a jump shot.
