Watch as Coach Shaka Smart explains, and players demonstrate these pick and roll options versus a trapping defense. A "go" is when the defender guarding the picker is approaching the trap and the picker slips to the rim. If the picker can catch the trapper in between by slipping early, they can create confusion for the defenders. A "quick" is when the picker rolls for one step and makes themselves available for a pass creating a 4-on-3 situation.
