Watch as Coach explains, and players demonstrate this 'guarding the whole', full-court defensive drill. The defender must guard the offensive player as he moves the ball up court. The offensive player zig zags up the court and will pass the ball to a coach who passes it back. The defender must guard the player attempting to deny the return pass. Emphasis should be on the defender staying low keeping the nose on the ball. Increasing the reps will make this a great conditioning drill.
