Watch as Coach explains this defensive footwork drill. The purpose of the drill is to work on approaches with the defenders approaching the attacker. As the ball moves to another attacker, they will drop step, open up, and slide back to their original position. Emphasis is on making the stick big and pointing it back as the defenders are sliding.
