Andre' Walker discusses conflict resolution focusing on two types of boundary conflicts. A boundary penetration example could involve coaches dealing with scheduling facility time or turf issues, thinking of themselves and not the good of the program. Boundary expansion conflict is when a staff member or coach needs to adjust their roles due to unforeseen circumstances. In either type of conflict, communication and/or pre-planning will assist in resolving conflicts.
