High Crotch Position with Tyson Reiner – Golden Eagle Wrestling Club

May 19, 2020 • By Wrestling Coaches Insider

Start in the proper position. Watch as Coach explains and demonstrates starting in the proper position for the high crotch. Line up on the opponent with the hips loaded and step around to the side with the knees bent. Come with a deep wrap and step out with the head against the side using the head and neck to get the opponent off balance. When you teach this positioning, it is easy to look at technique and form so you can make corrections.
