Watch as Coach Deitre Collins-Parker explains, and players demonstrate this middle blocking drill that helps train hands to work independently. Coach has players focus on getting one hand in the seam and the other cutting off the angle, which makes for a bigger block. One player will hold balls over the net which helps your middle work on hand placement. Footwork is key and Coach wants players taking a big first step. Shuffle steps are helpful to get back in rhythm. Coach has players rep both hands and each hand individually.
