May 7, 2024 • By ADInsider

Watch as Chris Fore discusses how to get that first head coaching job. The key factor of getting an interview for the head coaching position is the cover letter. A great cover letter can make you stand out by connecting your background, education, experience, and certification to the school's current needs. Chris will cover in detail what to include in a cover letter that will increase your chances of getting an interview as well as common mistakes that hinder your opportunity.

---------------------------------
Chris Fore is a veteran Athletic Director and Head Football Coach from Southern California who specializes in the hiring process among the highly competitive athletic world. EightLaces.org.

Currently, he serves as the Principal at Mojave High School in Hesperia, California. Fore coached high school football for sixteen years (eight as a Head Varsity Coach) and Junior College football for one before becoming an Administrator. He spent six years as an Athletic Director where both schools set the school record for the most Championships won in one year; both stand to this day. (One was set in 2010, the other in 2013.)
