Watch as Coach Norie Mueller explains, and a hitter demonstrates this upper-half extension hitting drill. The focus is on the hitter staying through the pitch and through extension. This is a great drill for hitters that are struggling with getting on top of the pitch or over rotating. Coach Mueller will explain in detail the three different stances the hitter uses in the box for this drill. The hitter starts with the feet facing the pitcher, a 3 quarter's position with the feet at a diagonal, and the hitter's regular stance.
