Watch as Coach explains that in power, control, and deception, there are three measures of the pitch. Every good pitcher can throw hard, throw strikes, and can deceive the hitters. For 'power', you want the pitcher to deliver the ball with maximum speed with the least amount of effort. 'Control' is hitting locations on command with repetition and 'deception' is the ability to throw two different pitches but make them look the same.
