Practice Intensity with Kim Barnes Arico – Univ. of Michigan

July 8, 2024 • By Men's Basketball Coaches Insider

Watch as Coach Kim Barnes Arico explains how her team wants to be the hardest working team in America and how to achieve this. The managers and staff keep practice points everyday which are based on the intangibles. The points are tallied up at the end of the week and the winner gets excused from extra conditioning drills. Examples include: taking a charge - 5 points, diving for a loose ball - 5 points, offensive rebounds - 2 points, deflections - 1 point.
