Watch as Coach Kim Elders explains, and players demonstrate these everyday defensive rebounding drills. The defenders start with their backs to the opponent, so they must physically take a look before blocking out. A coach will bounce a ball off the floor and the player will execute a block out. On the third rep, the defenders must block out and the ball must bounce 3 times. The 2nd drill is a 4-on-4 with the defenders moving either clockwise or counterclockwise, staying in a stance and communicating. On a shot they must find the opponent and block them out.
