Watch as Coach Ryan Moran explains and shows practice and game clips of these dodging drills: engage-release-run through and engage-release-shot. The objective is to create and release resistance to get the defender off-balance. Release and run through the defender's up-field shoulder, attacking for the shot. The second drill is the same except the offensive player will step away for the shot.
