Our Mission Coaching/Leading/Teaching Girls with Meghan Orgeman – Alexandria Area High School (MN)

August 27, 2024 • By Wisconsin Track Coaches Association

Coach Meghan Orgeman discusses the mission of coaching, leading, and teaching girls. The highlights include these key points:

  1. Socialize our girls to be imperfect within a supportive network of people who care deeply for them.
  2. Help them understand the magic that occurs while experiencing fear, pain, and uncertainty.
  3. Show her that they will be loved and accepted NOT for being perfect but for being brave.
  4. Help them stay connected to their desires (touch tree) and act on them.
  5. Help her understand and accept her flaws.

Meghan Orgeman is also a Guidance Counselor at Alexandria Area High School (MN).
