Watch as Coach Sarah Martin explains, and a player demonstrates knee slides. The focus of the knee slide is to drop the hips under the ball, maintain a strong parallel platform, and drive the ball up, high, and in-system. When executing a knee slide, the player steps, drops the back knee, and slides it toward the front foot to help with body control.
