Watch as Coach Jaylen Reyes explains, and players demonstrate this blocking warmup that focuses on high block reps and eye work. The drill starts with a pass to a setter and the middle blocker works on blocking a live quick, making a block move outside of her body. The middle will land, then do her crossover three footwork, and work on blocking balls hit from zone 4 to zone 5. The focus is to get into the seam with her hands straight over and blocking the ball with the left hand. After switching sides, she will work on making the block with her right hand.
