Watch as Coach Seth Tierney explains this team-building exercise using a ball of yarn. Start with your team in a circle and select a player to hold the end of a ball of yarn and have them explain to their teammates what being on the team means to them. That player will hold the end of the ball of yarn and throw it across the circle to another player. The players repeat the process and eventually it is a big web across the circle with everyone connected. You can cut that yarn and make individual bracelets for symbolism that each player wears throughout the season that reminds them that everyone is connected together.
