Watch as Christian Buck discusses scouting a goalie to see if they have a fear response. He encourages you to watch for two things in film or pregame warmups. First, does the goalie duck or make a reverse C movement? Second, watch his anchor foot. If the anchor foot never moves, the goalie will reach to make saves by stepping down and away. Once the fear factor is recognized he tells shooters to shoot high and hard. He recommends checking your own goalies for a fear response and will give examples on how to correct the problem.
