Watch as Coaches Matt Musci and Andy Shilling explain and demonstrate this quick split to a shot drill. When a defender is taking away the top side and the middle of the field, you want to catch and split and get the shot off within 3 steps, making sure your mechanics from the hands to the feet are tied together and as efficient as possible. On the split, rip the shoulder through to the other side, downhill, and get 2 hands on the stick, back and ready to shoot.
