Watch as Head Coach Nat St. Laurent and Assistant Coach Collin Stephens explain and players demonstrate the New Mexico Passing Drill. This is a 10-minute, high-rep drill with each set consisting of 10 to 15 passes per player. The focus is on getting around the corner and punching the hands to the side then making the pass. They will work on various pass types with the goal of making the players efficient and confident to make any type of pass. Coach St. Laurent explains that when doing the twister, the point is to make the goalie or defender move. The player must take the top hand across his face, to the opposite shoulder, keeping up by the ear and this will improve shooting angles.
