Offensive Line Fit Walk/Fit Weave Drill with Kyle Flood – Univ. of Texas

Watch full video with Football +Plus here. • May 21, 2025 • By Nike Coach of the Year Clinics

Watch as Coach Kyle Flood explains, and offensive linemen demonstrate this fit walk/fit weave drill. The feet should be outside the hips with the knees inside the ankles and over the toes. The elbows and hands should be tight with the thumbs up. The linemen will walk the defender down the board, replacing heel with toe. The fit weave part of the drill involves the defender changing direction and weaving, forcing the offensive player to keep the hips open to where the defender is.
