He created this tackling and fumble recovery drill to emphasize keeping the feet moving throughout the tackling process. The LB will tackle a popsicle sled and, on a command, will disengage from the sled and pick up a tossed ball while bending the knees, advancing the fumble while keeping the feet moving.
